From concept
to plan.
For studios, brands, institutions and founders with a game idea. It all starts with a free 15-minute call.
I have a game idea
Design
Shape the idea and define how it plays.
Is my idea or document on the right track?01 · Design audit · 1–2 weeks
Who it's for
You have an idea, a game design document (GDD) or a plan, and you want an expert opinion before investing more time or money.
What you get
- A report with strengths, risks and priorities, ordered by what to fix first.
- Comments directly on your document.
- A call to walk through the report and answer questions.
How I work
A context call, then I review through four lenses: clarity of vision, core loop (what the player does again and again, and why they'd keep going), scope versus resources, and production risks.
Approximate duration
1–2 weeks.
I have a specific problem and I want it solved now02 · Design sprint · 1 session + summary within 48 h
Who it's for
You're stuck on a decision: the core mechanic doesn't work, the scope grew too much or you don't know how the player progresses.
What you get
- A 3–4 hour live session focused on a single problem.
- A written summary with the decisions and next steps.
How I work
A short questionnaire beforehand, so we arrive prepared. During the session: shared whiteboard, paper prototyping and the MDA framework (mechanics → dynamics → aesthetics). You leave with a decision, not more questions.
Approximate duration
1 session + summary within 48 h.
I need the full document for my game03 · Game design document (GDD) · 3–6 weeks
Who it's for
You have the idea and need a solid document to pitch it to a fund, an investor or the team that will build it.
What you get
- High Concept: the idea on one page.
- One-Pager: a visual summary to present.
- Full GDD: concept, pillars, player role, core loop, systems, progression and constraints.
- A content production guide, so your team keeps creating without depending on me.
How I work
Recorded discovery sessions → concept, pillars and experience with MDA → core loop and connected systems → deliveries on a living document, with review rounds agreed from the start.
Approximate duration
3–6 weeks.
Production
Turn the design into a plan with numbers.
How much will it cost, how long will it take and who should I hire?04 · Production plan · 2–4 weeks
Who it's for
You have a clear concept and need a realistic plan before hiring a studio or freelancers. It also works to review a quote you already have.
What you get
- MVP plan: what goes into the smallest version worth building first, and what waits.
- Work breakdown structure (WBS): all the work in tasks and roles.
- Delivery roadmap and milestone schedule.
- Budget by role and by stage.
- Team list or roles handbook: the people each team needs according to the plan or, for more complex structures, a detailed roles handbook.
- Statement of work (SOW), to hire with clear rules.
How I work
MoSCoW prioritization (what's essential and what can wait), task-based estimates and verifiable milestones. It's the same documentation I used producing for Disney NOW and Warner Bros / GameMill.
Approximate duration
2–4 weeks.
I want someone experienced by my side05 · Ongoing support · Monthly, renewable
Who it's for
Founders or teams who are already building and want a steady second opinion, or an experienced producer for a specific stage of the game.
What you get
- Weekly or biweekly sessions, with milestone tracking.
- Review of key design and production decisions.
- Consulting producer: I take on the producer role in the stages you need (pre-production, production, on the way to beta or launch), with planning, team coordination, risk management and stakeholder communication.
How I work
As an advisor, I advise and you decide. As a consulting producer, I work inside your team with goals agreed per stage. Either way, the goal is for your team to build its own judgment, not to depend on me.
Approximate duration
Monthly, renewable.
Grants and gamification
For institutions, brands and cultural projects.
I want to apply to a fund with my game06 · Grant applications · Based on the fund's calendar
Who it's for
Cultural, educational or creative organizations applying to funds such as DAFO or other public or private grants.
What you get
- GDD, schedule and budget adapted to the fund's rules and budget lines.
- Support presenting the project.
- Guidance to put the team together.
How I work
I start from the call's rules and work backwards: every document answers an evaluation criterion. Reference case: Huellas Culturales.
Approximate duration
Based on the fund's calendar.
Nobody can guarantee approval: the concept and the team matter too. What I do guarantee is a clear, coherent and well-supported application.
I want my experience to hook people like a game07 · Gamification design · 2–5 weeks
Who it's for
Museums, educational programs, cultural initiatives, brands and apps that want game mechanics without making a full video game.
What you get
- The goal: what you want people to do and why they'd come back.
- The engagement loop.
- The mechanics: challenges, progression, rewards and collaboration.
- A document ready for your team or vendor to implement.
How I work
I start from your goal, not from points and badges, and I avoid empty mechanics or ones that create harmful competition. Reference case: Risky Workspace.
Approximate duration
2–5 weeks.

I'm a game dev looking for mentoring
1:1 mentoring
One-on-one sessions for game devs who want to produce and design with better judgment: plan, estimate, prioritize and pitch their game.
- Production: the kind of production that suits your project, scope, schedule, budget and stakeholder management.
- Design: core loop, progression and how to write a GDD people actually read.
- Review of your project or your pitch, with concrete feedback.
Before you book
Do I need a document to start?
No. The idea is enough. If you already have something written, we use it as a starting point.
Do you also develop the game?
My work focuses on design and production. If your project also needs development, we assess the scope together and the best way to approach it: leading production with a dedicated team, or guiding you to choose the right studio or profiles.
Why not just do it with AI?
You can, and it's fine to start. I use AI too, to work faster. What AI doesn't have is what comes from producing 15 games: knowing what things really cost, what to cut and how to defend the plan in front of a fund, a publisher or your team.
Do you work with clients outside Peru?
Yes. I work remotely, in Spanish or English.
Do you teach design or production?
Coming soon, through 1:1 mentoring. Meanwhile, you can start with the free resources.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes, if your project needs one. I've worked under NDA with private companies.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the scope. On the call I understand what you need, and then I send you a proposal with the cost, deliverables and timelines.
